Stock photography websites are another option for great images to match your company's image. Some websites offer free stock photos, while other websites offer graphics for a fee or a link back to their website. Whatever the requirement, you, the client is responsibile to ensure these obligations are met if you choose to use stock photography for your website. Please make sure you have obtained all clearances.
Right Clicking Images
Search engines make finding pictures easy, but right-clicking an image and using it on your website is not necessarily legal--not even if you plan to crop a portion of the picture. The fact is, that image is the property of the person who snapped it, and in some cases, the image belongs to the person who owns the object of that image. Resist the urge to steal photographs from the internet, take the pictures yourself, or better yet, talk to KTS about providing the service for you.
Ownership of Images
Clients are responsible for obtaining and maintaining copyright permissions for all images used in a website or brochure project.
